In this "Monday mindset'' episode, I am sharing some vulnerable thoughts on something that circles in my brain every single day, “Am I Doing Enough”. Whether it is as a mom, parent, friend, family member, or entrepreneur, we tend to find ourselves in a continuous loop of wondering if we're doing enough. This means our mind is stuck in the cycle of “should” instead of remembering and focusing on what we are doing or completing. This is where we need to keep our mind, in the present moments and this takes a lot of practice, repetition and training.
In today’s episode we
discuss:
1)
What is enough? The definition is “as much or as many of
something as required.” I would encourage you to ask yourself what
is deemed as enough? Is there anything that you could define here
and if so do it clearly to give yourself a benchmark to focus on.
When you make a to-do list do you make it to have 100 items instead
of your top 3 things?
2) Where can you delegate, hire someone else,
ask for help or take it off your list altogether? What really
matters? What activities will move you closer to where you want to
be? What are your top values, your non-negotiables or what do you
need to be your best self and do you have those activities in your
calendar on a daily basis?
3) Where can you give yourself
more grace, compassion or kindness? If you aren’t sure, then ask
yourself what you would tell a friend who is doing what you are
doing on a daily basis?
